Prof. James Tooley, (Director of E.G. West Centre) disseminated his research findings in the remote and impoverished areas at SOHO hotel, Beijing. He mentioned that his research team found 593 private schools in Gansu province. Those schools are all located in the villages, charging a fraction of tuitions and serving for the local communities.
